Statement of Faith

THE DOCTRINE OF THE CHURCH
The doctrinal standards of the Church are as hereinafter following:

a) The fundamental statements of truths and beliefs as contained in the Holy Bible is all sufficient rule of faith and practices which is the basis of fellowship among members of the Church. We declare absolute faith in God’s Word as revealed to us, which is supported by the writings in the Old & New Testament of the Bible, whose closest translation to the original revelations is the Authorized King James Version of 1611.

b) We believe in the virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, triumphal resurrection, ascension and abiding intercession of our Lord Jesus Christ, His second coming and reign upon the earth as recorded in the Gospel, Heb. 7- Heb. 10. We believe that in the resurrection we shall be the wives of Jesus Christ, and even now, as a Good Wife, just like Eve’s desire was to be for her husband only, Gen. 3:16, our desire is to please our Husband, Lord Jesus Christ, and to keep His commandments, in our worship to God. John 14:15-31; 2 Cor. 11:1-3; Rev. 19:6-8.

c) We believe in the sinful nature of man, the grace of repentance and regeneration and the eternal doom that awaits the impenitent man or woman. (Deut. 6:4 Gal. 3:26; Isaiah 44:6-8). And we teach repentance and faith towards God as the first step for the sinner . Eph 1:22,23. God accepts a sinner only when he/she repents; therefore repentance and remission of sins should be preached in Jesus Name. Luke 24:45-47; Luke 13:3,5; Acts 2:27,38; Acts3:19.

d) We believe in the Laws of God as stated in the Ten (10) Commandments of God given through Moses, and other relevant Old Testament Prophetic writings and Laws, still applicable, and unchanged by the Coming of Christ, and the other New Testament laws and or other amendments given by the Holy Ghost through the Apostles. Exodus 20:1-17, Matt. 19:16-23; Matt. 5:3-48; Matt. 6 and 7; John 14:21-26; 1 Pet. 3:2; James 2:10;2 Pet. 1:20,21; 2 Tim.3:16.

e) We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit for believers, with signs following. (Acts 1:4-5; John 7:38-39). And that the Holy Ghost bestows gifts on His children for the edification, exhortation and comfort of the Church, which is the body of Christ. (Rom. 12:5; 1 Cor. 12:8-11). And through these 9spiritual gifts, Divine healing, Prophecy and its interpretations, Dreams and its Interpretations, Tongues and its interpretations, miracles, casting out of devils, discernment of spirits, etc.

f) We believe in the sacraments of water baptism (by immersion and in the Name of Jesus Christ) & the Lord’s Supper (communion of the body of Christ) with foot washing. (Matt. 28:19; 1 Cor. 11:23-25; 1 John 5:7; Acts 2:38 & 19:1-6).

g) We believe that the husband is the head in all Holy unions, according to God’s laws. The Headship in holy wedlock/matrimony, is both physical & spiritual, and symbolizes Christ’s union or marriage to His wife, the Church, which is a part of His Body, as Eve was a part of Adam’s body prior to her creation at Eden. Num. 5:13-22; Lev. 12:1-8; Isaiah 4:1; 1 Cor. 11:1-8; Eph. 5:22-29; 1 Tim. 2:12,13; 1 Pet. 3:1-8; Col.3:17-21; 2 Cor. 11:1-3.

h) We believe in these Divine inspirations stated in the Holy Scriptures against Fornication, Adultery and Divorce as true and final for good Christian conduct. Romans 7:1-3; 1 Cor. 6:9, 13-20; 1 Cor. 7:10 & 11, 27 & 28, 36-39; Lev. 20:10-27; Heb. 13:4; Deut. 21, 22, 23:17; Deut. 24:1-4; Mal. 2:10-17; Matt. 25:1-10; Lev. 18:1-30; Num. 5:13-22.

j) We believe in the Church Government as established in the Bible. Government by Apostles, Bishops, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Elders, Teachers and Deacons. (Luke 11:49; 1 Cor. 1:28; Eph. 4:7-11; Titus 1:5; 1Tim.3:8) for the edification of the Body of Christ.

k) We believe in supporting the Ministry of the Word of God and His Assembly of Saints for the promotion of God’s Kingdom here on Earth through my freewill offerings (love, seed-faith, thanksgiving, testimony, etc). And I will give God’s tithes (a Tenth of my net income or any increase or gift) as ordered in His Word. Tithes and Offerings are obligatory duties of every
Christian. (Gen. 14:16-20; Gen. 28:22; Prov. 3:9) Gen. 28:22; Exodus 20:24; Exod. 35:29; Lev. 2:3; Lev. 7:12-16,31,35; Lev. 22:24, 29; Lev. 24:1-7; Lev. 27:32; Num. 18:7, 8-12, 21, 26; Mal. 3:8-11; Matt. 23:23; Luke 5:14; Act 5:4; 1 Cor. 9:8-14; Heb. 7:1-28.

l) We believe that God is One person, one spirit but 3 manifestations or revelations in the Bible. We do not believe in the Catholic doctrine or coinage of Trinity or 3 persons in one God. John 4:24; Eph.4:4-6; Isa.9:6; identifies God as a Spirit. God is omnipresent, omniscience, omnipotent (Isa.44:6-8; Mark12:29; John5:24; 1 Cor. 8:6. Jesus is God in the flesh. Heb.10:20; 1 Tim.3:16. Job 19:26; Isa. 26:19; Dan. 12:2; Rev. 10:1-35; Rev 20:12. The Judgment of the rest of the world occurs at the end of the ages. Rev. 20:5; Eccl. 12:14; Heb. 9:27; 2 Cor. 5:10; Rev. 10:11-15; Matt. 16:24-27.

n) We believe in Church planting, in obedience of Christ’s commission to go to all nations and make disciples of all men, baptizing them in the Name of God. And to support the growth and management of planted and affiliate churches. To support Ministers and Saints and to expand God’s Kingdom here on Earth.

o) We believe in celebrating the quarterly 7-days fasting and prayer spiritual retreat (i.e. 3 times a year, one in the month of April, August and December) and also the monthly 3-days fasting and prayer revival program and monthly prayer night vigil on the last Friday of every month.

p) BELIVER’S SECURITY: We believe that it is possible for those who had been enlightened and had tasted of the good Word of God to fall from their steadfastness in Christ.(Heb. 3:12-19; 2 Pet. 3:15-17; Heb. 10:25) Therefore, the Believer is secured from God’s judgment, only if he/she maintains fellowship with Christ, till the end. Matthew 24:12-14; only those who remain in the faith till death shall be saved. There is no scripture for “Once saved, always saved!” Luke 12:40-48; 1 Pet. 5:1-4; Jude1:17-19; James 2:10.

r) WAR: We believe that war came from the enemy of mankind, the devil, and that it is condemned by the Word of God. For Jesus taught that “if smitten on one cheek, we as Christians are to turn the other cheek also.” Matt. 5:38; Luke 6:29. Thou shalt not kill (or commit murder, Matt. 5:21). We pledge to be loyal to our governments and above all, be true to God1 Pet. 2:11-18. And since the Bible forbids us from fighting or taking (killing) any human being’s life, our members shall accept any provision offered by the governmental laws that covers conscientious objectors to wars, in any form, and shall register as an objector to combat Duty where there is the bearing of Arms, so as to be consigned to noncombatant duties. 1

s) OPEN-ENDEDNESS OF OUR DOCTRINES: We believe in the principles of the doctrines of Christ, as stated in Hebrew 6:1,2, as the foundations to take us to the perfection that is the Blood of Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Ghost is the Comforter sent by God to lead us, His children, unto all truths, and these doctrines stated above are not the end to the inspirations of God. We shall accept, incorporate and teach, any and all subsequent revelations, illuminations or insights that the Holy Spirit shall give from time to time, that are practical, and in line with the writings of the Holy Bible. Matt. 13:52; John 14:26; 2 Pet. 1:20,21.
